TSS Operations Manager(Job Number:BRA000C3E)

As a TSS Operations Manager, your goal is to manage and evolve critical & differentiated capabilities across the TSS enterprise which represent high value and profit for Target. 
  • Develop, drive and audit critical processes, procedures and management systems for client teams that drive high value outcomes. 
  • Leverage project management techniques such as issue framing, waterfall and agile to run projects.
  • Execute data quality audits to highlight integrity of the data, and identify areas of concern to be addressed, including recommendations on how we address.
  • Lead data integrity and governance, educating teams and leaders on actions that can strengthen our data and insights.   
  • Researching capabilities to identify, analyze and evaluate strengths and opportunities within business processes and management systems.
  • Collaborate across teams to identify optimal solutions which satisfy stakeholders.
  • Make connections across broad portfolio of work to understand implications to projects and core foundations, a curiosity to develop and deliver on data strategies for TSS.
  • Partner with teams throughout Merchandising, TSS, TTS, EDABI, PD&D, Packaging and Supply Chain and our vendor partners to advance solutions.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress. 
  • Reports to Director, TSS Operations.  Interacts with all levels of leadership and team in the TSS organization, from President to specialist. 
  • Works closely with HQ and Overseas Offices.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent application skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project)
  • Familiarity with core database structures - DB2, Teradata, Hadoop, BigRed
  • Ability to execute simple query logic
  • 4 years of project management
  • Strong thought leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively and influence others to achieve a common objective
  • Problem solving & analytical ability. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into simple, clear communications & scenario building.
  • Strong organizational & multi-tasking ability
  • Strong adaptability & resiliency skills.  The work is dynamic and the ability to change directions seamlessly is critical.
  • Project Management Professional ( PMP)
  • Familiarity with Target Sourcing and Merchandising processes; understanding the product development life cycle.
  • Experience working with Multi Cultural/International Audiences.
