**Role Summary:**

GE Offshore Wind Business is seeking a candidate for the role of Controls Technical Leader to lead the full control system development, integration and validation in the area of Controls. He/she will own all aspects of controls development and technical direction for control system design. This includes hardware definition, software development, Condition Monitoring System design, and SCADA System. This is an exciting role with key technical and leadership challenges in a growing business.

La branche GE Offshore Wind recherche un(e) candidat(e) au poste de Responsable technique - Systmes de contrle afin de superviser le dveloppement, l'intgration et la validation des systmes de contrle dans le domaine des contrles-commandes. Il/Elle est charg(e) d'assumer l'ensemble des responsabilits relatives au dveloppement et la supervision technique pour la conception des systmes de contrle. Ces responsabilits incluent la dfinition matrielle, le dveloppement logiciel, la conception du systme de surveillance d'tat et le systme SCADA. Il s'agit d'un poste particulirement motivant, prsentant des dfis majeurs d'un point de vue technique et en termes de leadership au sein d'une branche en pleine croissance.

Principales responsabilits

Veiller au respect des objectifs au niveau du service, de la branche et de l'entreprise pour la conception des systmes de contrle. Intgrer et dvelopper des systmes de contrle et SCADA pour des oliennes et des parcs d'oliennes rpondant aux besoins oprationnels au sein de l'organisation, et veiller l'introduction de fonctionnalits numriques pour amliorer la comptitivit des systmes offshore. Prendre part la planification long terme pour l'introduction de nouvelles technologies et les exigences relatives aux futurs produits

Superviser les initiatives d'amlioration des performances des oliennes tout en amliorant la fiabilit. Participer l'laboration de la stratgie globale et grer des problmes complexes relatifs aux systmes de contrle en temps rel, l'automatisation et la scurit des oliennes. Assumer l'ensemble des responsabilits relatives tous les aspects des systmes de contrle, de la conception la mise en uvre sur site, en passant par la validation

Full leadership of the functional, business, and broad company objectives for the design of control system. Integrates and develops wind turbine and wind farm controls & SCADA that meet business needs across the organization and ensures the introduction of the Digital features to enhance offshore competitiveness. Involved in long-term planning for new technologies introduction and future product requirements.

The Technical Leader for Controls is an integral part of driving improvements in wind turbine performance while improving reliability. This role contributes to the overall strategy and manages complex issues associated with real time controls, automation, and turbine safety. This role has overall ownership of all Controls aspects from design, validation and field implementation.

+ Identify, develop, evaluate, and introduce engineering solutions to meet near term and long range engineering needs in the areas of controls design requirements, development, and validation to meet business needs

+ Lead and provide the key technical direction to new controls design, including technology introduction such as best in-class controls, fault tolerant controls, and digital transformation

+ System mindset with focus on operability, reliability and failure mode analysis. Contribute to the components and system modelling requirements at functional level. Interface with component-level teams to ensure component design meets system controls requirements

+ Ensure that lessons-learned from field are fed back into the controls design

+ Effectively communicate and provide recommendations through the analysis, preparation and presentation of technical data to internal and external GE customers

+ Prepare invention disclosures to protect technology that gives the business a competitive advantage, as well as protecting the intellectual property rights of the company **Qualifications/Requirements:**

+ Masters of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science or equivalent knowledge or experience

+ Very strong experience in an engineering capacity

+ Significant experience with controls design and commissioning

+ Experience directly/indirectly leading large design teams

+ Experience in multiple areas of control systems, including: hardware, software, SCADA, and Condition Monitoring

+ Fluency in English

+ EU Work PermitNon-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement.


+ BAC+4 en ingnierie, en physique, en chimie, en mathmatiques ou en informatique ou connaissances/expriences quivalentes

+ Solide exprience au sein dun service dingnierie

+ Exprience significative de la conception et de la mise en service des systmes de contrle

+ Exprience de la supervision directe/indirecte d'quipes de conception de grande envergure

+ Exprience dans plusieurs domaines des systmes de contrle, notamment : matriel, logiciel, SCADA, surveillance d'tat

+ Anglais courant

+ Permis de travail europen
