Responsibilities

Responsible for translating the clients business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains enterprise-wide solutions to total system or subsystems using internally created and/or off the shelf products. Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Provides direction for design activities. Often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites.

The Systems Integrator will support theSponsor's Front Office in providing strategic thought leadership, have knowledge of industry and sponsor best practices, and assist in forging partnerships with senior leadership to drive and support further development, communication, and implementation of the Sponsor's vision.

The primary function will be to support driving resolution based on detailed project plans and schedules to meet key critical delivery milestones for a mission critical communication system andassociateddecommissioning activities of legacy infrastructure. Assist in ensuring technical architectures for future state operations are aligned with program implementation business goals. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Interact on a daily basis with Senior Leadership inproviding strategic thought leadership, assisting to track work execution for whole project
  • Ability to assist in creation, and maintenance of detailed project plans and reports
    • Draft and coordinate detailed project schedules, and weekly/monthly status reports as required
    • Provide inputs to create various program documentation to include schedules, briefings, architectural diagrams and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
    • Assist in business case analysis and identification of alternative solutions and resulting business impacts
    • Ability to design and/or modify comprehensive briefing packages with data and information that will resonate with Senior Leadership
  • Assist in the facilitation and preparation of Senior Level forums (i.e. Steering Committee, Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs))
  • Assist in evaluating thestrengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Perform enterprise wide horizontal integration planning and interface to other functional systems/or organizations

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Strong oral and written communications and interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail
  • Proactive with demonstrated experience multi-tasking in a fast paced and demanding technical environment
  • Experience working with MS Office Products (PowerPoint, Project, Word)
  • Knowledge of full life-cycle Project Management practices and agile methodologies; Extensive IT background that includes familiarity of Cloud practices and environments (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience and solid understanding of long range strategic planning in a large organization, change/transition management, portfolio management
  • Demonstrated intellectual rigor and professional expertise to brainstorm new ideas and identify appropriate industry and sponsor best practices
  • Demonstrated experience as a project manager providing program and project management supporting, working with team to maintain programmatic, customer engagement, requirements analysis and decomposition of work
  • Demonstrated experience with the MS Office Suite with the ability to prepare technical and non-technical briefings/presentations for use at the executive level
  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline

Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.
