This component of the Space Program provides Enterprise Systems Engineering (ESE) and Integration capabilities to a national intelligence acquisition and operations organization. The program supports full lifecycle acquisition across all mission domains of a complex national systems architecture.This position will serve as the Transport Domain Lead, balancing both technical and managerial responsibilities for the program.This program is seeking a talented; customer focused seniorGround/COMM engineer/manager. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, leadership abilities, organization, have an ability to prioritize their time, and understand the value of providing strong customer service.

Position Duties:

  • Single point of contact for Government Transport Capability Manager responsible for all matters related to contract execution within the domain.
  • Identify, coordinate and deliver System Engineering products and services satisfying domain-wide priorities.
  • Create strategic products to include monthly PMRs and contract follow-on shaping concepts.
  • Develop cost, technical and management volumes in response to Government ECPs.
  • Evaluate contract deliverables ensuring products and services meet customer expectations, contact requirements and program standards.
  • Continuously evaluate program requirements and modify skills mix to maintain high-value delivery of contract products and services.
  • Lead staffing priorities and FTE management for the domain, to include sourcing candidates, conducting interviews and supporting onboarding.
  • Provide assistance to the Program Manager in the resolution of cross-program execution or personnel issues or risks.
  • Maintain frequent contact with program staff to communicate program and company information and evaluate and enhance team performance.
  • Identify issues or risk regarding attrition and develop and implement staff retention strategies.
  • Ensure program personal are compliant with all contract, program and company policies.
  • Support teams coordinating and assessing requirements, CONOPs and architecture products,system schedule and risk management, system integration of new initiatives in support of expanded mission capabilities.
  • Support various system readiness events and independent review teams.
  • Interact with multiple Acquisition Offices (AOs) and facilitate risk and action closure with AOs and users, and support technical consultation, meeting coordination, and support to briefings.


  • Requires 10 years with at least 4 years of management level responsibility. Incumbent has specialized knowledge in at least one area of expertise and a general knowledge in 1-2 other area's.
  • Must have an active TS/SCI, the ability to pass a Polygraph.
  • Strong business acumen; ability to relate professionally inside the work environment.
  • Detailed knowledge ofcommunications systems.
  • Experience supporting integration of Infrastructure Services, Application Services, Mission Applications and Communication/IT Systems.
  • Highly organized and skilled communicator.
  • Adaptability and experience with interaction on-site with the government customers.
  • A passion for learning, helping others, sharing team knowledge, and contributing value to the mission in any way possible.
