Responsibilities

Description:

Configuration Management is a governance and systems engineering process for ensuring consistency in an operational environment. The configuration management process seeks to identify and track individual configuration items (CIs), documenting functional capabilities, and interdependencies. The Caelum Program has a need for a configuration/baseline management professional to manage the operational baseline.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Management and execution of the Configuration Management (CM) process, including maintenance and update of the CM plan
  • Conduct and tracking of the work of the office control boards; the generation, management, and quality control of all OSP Requests for Change (RFCs), as directed by the COR, CO, or Govt CE; and the management and administrative control of all office baseline documentation
  • Maintain awareness of greater NSG activities and provide impacts as determined by Caelum/NEE team
  • Identify system impacts and provide recommendations
  • Generate assessment reports
  • Prepare and present status briefings to program and customer leadership
  • Collect and maintain CDRLs

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Bachelors degree in CS / Science / Engineering or related technical experience
  • 6+ years of systems engineering, systems integration or systems /software development experience
  • 1+ years of experience with IC or DoD engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to explain technical issues clearly/accurately to technical/non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective customer relationships with senior level government personnel; ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Self-starter and able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written/verbal communications, technical/non-technical presentation skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or certification in a technical field
  • 2+ years experience with NSG CM processes.
