Responsibilities:


This component of the Space Program provides Enterprise Systems Engineering and Integration capabilities to a national intelligence acquisition and operations organization. The program supports full lifecycle acquisition across all mission domains of a complex national systems architecture. The selected candidate will have knowledge of Future Ground Architecture and experience with Major Systems Acquisitions. The candidate will track Acquisition Office activities and assess performance against meeting community Statement of Capabilities (SOCs) across missions. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating, supporting, and assessing requirements, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), and architecture products, assessing schedules and risks, supporting test and verification strategy and system integration of new initiatives in support of expanded mission capabilities.

  • Provide system end to end closure of requirements baseline for ground systems
  • Follow readiness processes for Integration and Closure (I&C)
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across enterprise including action tracking and follow-up
  • Provide support to system integration of new initiatives for expanded mission capabilities


Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.
  • TS/SCI and eligible for a Polygraph.
  • A passion for learning, helping others, sharing team knowledge, and contributing value to the mission in any way possible.
  • Experience with large acquisition systems engineering efforts, methods, and processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen; ability to relate professionally inside the work environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with team lead to prioritize tasks.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong business acumen; ability to relate professionally inside the work environment.
  • Experience with Intelligence Community (IC) customer or Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Knowledge ofIT and Ground systems.
  • Experience in the GEOINT Mission Domain preferred.
  • Expertise in mission technical capabilities and system performance analysis and assessment.

*Due to workplace precautions/restrictions in light of COVID-19, employees may be required to work shift work. Schedules will return to core hours, Monday-Friday, once precautions/restrictions are removed.
