SAIC is seeking an experienced and proven enterprise executive to lead its Information Technology Market Segment. The Information Technology Solutions market segment is a fundamental element of the SAIC core strategy representing approximately ~$2B of SAIC’s annual revenue. The General Manager will lead all elements of the corporate capability including strategy, solution development, research and development, workforce management and evolution and cost strategy and estimation.


Lead, refine and execute the long term strategy for SAIC's Information Technology Solutions (ITS) Market Segment (~$2B annually) including differentiated solution development, resource management strategy and long term workforce development (develop, deploy and retain ~6,200+ technical personnel) to support and advance enterprise performance goals. Manage and control discretionary costs to support strategic goals and meet enterprise performance targets to also include definition and management of multi-million dollar research and develop projects and budgets.

Solution Development Focus

Lead Market Segment Strategy development and execution with focus on sub-segment leadership and differentiation (i.e., what and how we sell solutions). Define, develop, and promote repeatable solutions to support market segment strategies to drive profitable growth through SAIC’s customer accounts. Ensure solutions are bundled, priced, and sold in a competitive (i.e. commercial) manner that support the strategy and Customer Group (CG) account priorities. Lead solutions portfolio management supporting SAIC’s strategic priorities. Provide interface and support pipeline development with Customer Group leadership, ensuring inclusion of a full spectrum of Market segment capabilities. Participate in Strategic Bid decisions to include make vs buy decision for our multi-billion dollar pipeline of opportunities. Develop bottoms-up strategy execution plan in coordination with CGs to achieve strategic objectives set by Chief Operating Officer and SAIC leadership. Identify and prioritize opportunities for growth across Market Sub-segments to support SAIC’s profit and growth targets. Oversee strategic industry partnerships that are aligned to core Market Sub-segments that support SAIC’s efforts for key repeatable solutions. Support CGs with appropriate customer relationships, ensure successful program technical execution, and monitor program delivery through attendance at regular program performance reviews. Monitor CG customer satisfaction for service delivery and establish satisfaction intervention plans as required. Collaborate with customer groups on industry, customer and technology trends to inform sales campaigns, differentiate capabilities and establish industry leadership positions in select domains.

Workforce Development Focus

Lead Resource Management strategy and workforce transformation strategy for Market segment and relevant capability categories. Drive strategies to ensure industry leading competitive position. Oversee Workforce Skill Development strategy and plans for a 6,000+ geographically dispersed workforce inclusive of all skill levels across all IT disciplines. Measure and ensure staffing and resource management actions fit strategy and financial performance goals.

- Deliver revenue growth from strategic alliance partnerships

- Administration and compliance, budget management (OH, IRAD, M&PE)
- Manage efficiency against B&P


- Demonstrated success leading, managing, and overseeing a capability portfolio of at least $2B supporting the US Federal Government sector
- Demonstrated driving the development and implementation of repeatable solutions
- Demonstrated success developing and implementing technology, product and go-to-market strategies
- Technical domain experience in areas such as: cloud computing, IT operations, data analytics, cyber operations/information warfare, and/or mission software development
- Good analytical, strategic, and reasoning skills as well as the ability to create and communicate complex business models/innovative solutions
- Ability to operate with cross-functional resources
- Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in written communications, with technical staff, peers, senior leadership and customers.
- Strong executive-level working knowledge of Federal and commercial contracting practices
- US Citizenship required with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance

- Working knowledge of functional topics including contracts, finance, human resources, etc
- Experience developing and executing mergers and acquisitions including subsequent integration activities.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required. Advanced relevant degree desired.

CLEARANCE: Current Top Secret/SCI desirable
