We are currently recruiting for a Suply Chain Analyst to be based in Badoyle, Dublin.


Position Summary:

The Supply Chain Analysis is responsible for leading all activities relating to Production Planning, Capacity Planning, Master scheduling, Shipping Schedules, Inventory Management, Third Party Manufacturing Planning and supporting all plant indirect spend.


  • Create Baldoyle Supply Plan to meet customer demand through extracting demand from the Monthly S&OP process
  • Responsible for S&OP activities and global supply / demand activities for Baldoyle site
  • Planner for all supply / demand and labour activities for 5 production lines and 2 filling rooms
  • Produce weekly / monthly supply plans that best optimises the plants bulk and packing resources taking into account PM monthly requirements.
  • Produce monthly capacity plans and recommend options to meet unconstrained demand plans.
  • Producing weekly and monthly ship plans which aligns Teva Atlas system requirements
  • Monitor weekly build plans / performance and align supply plans to meet our customer service performance metric goals
  • Create a demand plan and load Purchase orders for our Third Party Manufacturer.
  • Communicate with Customers / Markets to validate demand forecasts and build strong customer relationships with over 40 Customers / Markets.
  • Support the Global and Regional S&OP process through relevant metric reporting and summary of key supply/capacity decisions required to ensure that the Baldoyle supply plan is built on the basis that production is planned and executed in the most efficient and cost effective way..
  • Update Atlas(Oracle) system to ensure ship plan meets customer demand plan
  • Update and maintain weekly and monthly Planning KPIs.
  • Update and maintain all planning SOP and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report any deviation from agreed plan and implement corrective actions were applicable.
  • Be responsible for creating and monitoring Purchase Orders and all associated activities up through to payment to the supplier, including the resolution of mismatched POs.
  • Coordination of master data update as required.
  • Update purchase order dates with confirmations from vendors
  • Assist management to establish decision rules by formulating supply chain strategies that reduce overall costs and optimize customer service levels.
  • Control and monitoring of Vendor Appraisal, Vendor rating process.
  • Monitor and action exception messages from system
  • Be responsible for creating purchasing info records and maintaining pricing information from suppliers, as well as evaluation of pricing simulations.
  • Control documentation for all inbound materials ensuring relevant documentation is received and passed on to relevant departments.
  • Participate in the identification of new sources of supply as required Mange the quality/ price / budget /availability / relationship with suppliers to ensure the site end user needs are met.
  • Prepare and present relevant metrics on selected indirect spend.
  • Work closely with other supply chain associates and all other departments to ensure Baldoyle continues on its successful path towards the Shingo Prize
  • Participate in and deliver on all other projects / assignments as directed by department head.
  • Participate, represent and led Supply Chain department in continuous improvement projects across the site as required.
  • Participate in Supply Chain Team improvements / development initiatives.
  • Train and provide training on key Supply Chain activities for the purpose of cross training with other supply chain associates
  • Liaise with other departments within the supply chain including EHS, QA, QC, Maintenance, Finance, Processing and Packaging as required. 


Maintaining and devolving a comprehensive suite of reporting will be a key responsibility for this role,

  • Degree in business, science, engineering or similar. APICS certification is desirable.
  • 5+ yearss proven experience in Planner / Buyer role within manufacturing ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in the implementation, development and execution of business, planning, purchasing and controls systems
  • Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent planning and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
  • Current understanding and application/interpretation of GMP regulatory guidances in a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing practices such as Lean, Six Sigma, A3 investigation, Theory of Constraints, and System for Management
