The Finance team is responsible for all aspects of the corporate finance organization, including strategy, implementation, enterprise risk management and internal audit, treasury, tax, procurement and investor relations. These functional areas enable corporate profitability and success by ensuring cost savings and efficiencies, sound reporting of results and accurate forecasts.

Responsibilities

Perspecta is hiring for a Program Management Analyst in Laurel, MD. Performs a variety of project administration support services involving data review, reporting, project coordination, budget review, and other related duties in support of the Project/Program Manager. Provides support to the Project/Program Manager in planning, managing, and monitoring projects through its life cycle. Works on overall project planning through reporting on project schedules and deliverables. Briefs management on the status of action items and metrics to track contract performance. Coordinates projects; develops system for data collection, reporting criteria and records; researches and compiles statistics and data for projects; may assist in writing narratives for reports. Monitors project timeline; tracks document submissions; creates, monitors and maintains audit files. Identifies, communicates and resolves risks. Identifies and resolves issues to eliminate or mitigate the occurrence of consequences that may impact the success of the project. For program compliance, designs and implements procedures to fulfill project objectives and criteria; may prepare memorandums; works with agencies to resolve concerns and issues. Prepares monthly variance reports with associated footnotes. Evaluates and monitors the performance and efficiency of programs to ensure that program implementation is on target.

Daily program responsibilities:

  • Participate and perform in such tasking as: generating, issuing and maintaining the Subcontract Management Plan; providing oversight and coordination of program subcontract activities; modifying contracts; negotiating subcontract T&C; monitoring/controlling subcontracts to evaluate Award Fee Determinations; as appropriate to each subcontract; assessing subcontract progress (technical and programmatic); managing subcontract changes process; ensuring subcontract risk management and quality processes are followed and fully integrated into Prime Contractor processes; and conducting subcontractor audits.
  • Working under only general direction, provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.

Responsible for many aspects of subcontract administration to include deliverables management, integration of data into corporate financial systems, compliance, performance metrics, negotiations and subcontract oversight.

Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret/SCI w/Poly clearance is required
  • Bachelors degree in business management, ore related field may be substituted for four (4) years of experience. A Masters degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience as a Financial Analyst is required
  • Subcontracts experience is strongly preferred
