Required Related Experience

Experience in video production and editing, and knowledge of digital media editing software (ex: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is required.

Physical Requirements

Lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 25 lbs.


Scheduled between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with occasional event coverage in the evenings.

Job Summary

The Office of Nationally Competitive Awards is hiring an enthusiastic student worker for the 2019-2020 academic year to produce informational videos and other media for promotional use by the office. Nationally competitive scholarships and fellowships are awards that are funded by sources independent of the university, including non-profit groups, government agencies, and companies. Media will highlight key information on common awards as well as services provided by the office and may be posted to websites, social media, digital signage and used on other marketing materials. Student will also be expected to contribute to other marketing materials for office (website, brochures, flyers, social media, etc.).

The review of applications will begin 7/22/2019 and will continue until the position is filled.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Student should have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, dependability, creativity, and the ability to work independently. This position will work regularly with students, faculty, staff and alumni.

Preferred Education/Experience

Knowledge of marketing, social media and graphic design.
