**Role Summary:**



Lead the Finance IT Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) hardware and software maintenance operations for all GE Business Unit on-premise and cloud infrastructure. Lead the Finance IT PaaS projects and initiatives for both on-premise and cloud projects. The Finance IT PaaS team is responsible for the application hosting of hardware, software, automations, and security for several GE Financial systems.



**Essential Responsibilities:**



+ Drive all patching processes and procedures for the Finance IT Platform as a Service Servers, including Operating Systems, Databases, Hardware, and Software.

+ Drive all maintenance processes and procedures for the Finance IT Platform as a Service infrastructure and software in collaboration with application teams.

+ Manage and maintain all security certificates across the Finance IT Platform as a Service network.

+ Develop and manage synergies between the various IT teams responsible for managing our Finance IT Platforms, including database, hardware, and software teams.

+ Project Manage Finance IT PaaS initiatives for both on-premise and cloud platforms.

+ Manage decommissions of hardware and databases utilized by legacy Finance platforms.

+ Manage Service-Now CI configuration for Finance IT Platforms.

+ Assist with day-to-day operations of the Finance IT PaaS Platform.

+ Build & maintain strategic relationships with GE business units, Global Operations, IT & Finance leaders that supports business growth & aligns to GE's simplification strategy

+ Promote the company culture by encouraging open communication, teamwork and living of the GE Beliefs

+ Establish and foster a work culture at all levels that is positive, collaborative, respectful, innovative, dynamic, with high integrity, and capable of driving positive change over sustained periods of time

+ Assist operations team members with client & vendor problem resolution and escalation

+ Provide necessary leadership for the business and IT team to ensure that initiatives and projects meet the strategic objectives

+ Create a consistent communication rhythm on organization and program status, keeping IT leadership, global business unit customers and functional partners in synch with overall initiative outcomes

+ Drive adherence to Financial & IT Compliance standards (SOX, ISO) by minimizing exception processes and creating streamlined or automated solutions for gaps



**Qualifications/Requirements:**



+ Bachelor's Degree from accredited university or college in Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering, Finance or other technical related fields (OR a minimum 6 years of relevant work experience)

+ Minimum 5 years overall experience in Information Technology delivering high impact technology solutions

+ Minimum of 2 years in Oracle Hyperion (EPM) architecture and/or comparable software architecture.

+ Minimum of 2 years project management experience.

+ ITIL methodology experience

+ Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen

+ Available to travel at least - - 10%

+ Available to work out of an office located in Monterrey, MX

+ Demonstrated ability to execute solutions in an agile manner to shrink implementation cycles and deliver value to customers quickly and accurately

+ Demonstrated ability to partner with Finance teams to support Planning and Reporting processes.

+ Demonstrated customer focus evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives

+ Demonstrated experience in project or program management

+ Demonstrated ability to influence direction and decisions across IT and Finance.

+ Dynamic leader & strong team player collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various stakeholders

+ Analytical and problem solving skills - communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions

+ Experience working across multiple functions and with global resources

+ Six Sigma or EPM certificated

+ Track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and / or industry activities
