**Role Summary:**



The Key Account Manager demonstrates complete accountability for achieving business goals and building highest level customer relationships relating to specified account(s). To achieve these objectives the individual will work across BHGE product companies and commercial teams. The person will be involved in long-term planning, and will contribute to the overall business/customer engagement strategy.







**Essential Responsibilities:**



Lead in all aspects of account growth including strategy development, integrated account planning, opportunity identification, and value communication



Define entitlement and identify areas to penetrate and grow profitability



Interface directly with the marketing organization to drive high value solutions leveraging the BHGE portfolio



Serve as a conduit for solutions detailed understanding of customers business model and how BHGEs products and services develop and deliver added value to the customer



Build customer relationships and communication at all levels



Matrix with existing functional and P&L teams to achieve growth objectives



Structure, price, negotiate and close deals



Successfully interface with across region and product companies



Actively participate in community events with the customer



Utilize lean six sigma tools & methodologies to drive improvements in key processes for the customer







**Qualifications/Requirements:**



- Bachelor's and/or Masters degree from an accredited university or college



- Minimum of 10 years of experience of direct sales, account or team leadership experience



- Deep domain expertise in the upstream Oil & Gas sector







**Desired Characteristics:**



Solid experience in business development or building growth plans is preferred



Able to develop and maintain customer relationships at all levels, including the CEO staff level



Strategic or product marketing exposure



Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions



Able to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers



Strong oral and written communication skills



Strong interpersonal and leadership skills



Established program management ability
