**Role Summary:**











Full - Time Regular











An opening for Sr. Infrastructure Architect based in Kuala Lumpur. The position will support the Digital Technology Division.











**Essential Responsibilities:**









+ Maintains basic understanding of legislation, standard frameworks, and other relevant governance, risk, and compliance.


+ Experienced individual in LAN/WAN network engineering (including network design), installation, configuration, and maintenance of various network equipment (routers, switches and associated technologies, Firewalls and Load Balancers


+ Experience in Firewall administration and troubleshooting on Cisco, Palo Alto platforms.


+ Responsible for architectural design and documentation of specific business problems or organizations.


+ Assesses implications of strategic initiatives being pursued by the company and help leverage the compliance program to identify business and architecture benefits that can be derived.


+ Handles special projects, as assigned


+ Meeting with the Business, Customers, Systems Integration, and other IT departments to gather technical requirements for business justification of projects.


+ Verifying technical requirements for projects.


+ Communicating the Business requirements to multiple vendors to design and vet the solutions.


+ Obtaining approvals from the Business and Core Telecom group for the design and connectivity options.


+ Implementing the connectivity solutions per customer requirements and approvals.


+ Coordinating all support of connectivity solutions with vendors, Customer, Business and other third parties.






**Project Management:**









+ Developing a High-level plan at project initialization that will guide the project through the requirements and pre-sales stage.


+ Developing a Detailed project plan that will guide the project through the solution design, procurement, and delivery stages.


+ Holding regular meeting with stakeholders to track progress and communicate issues, and delegate tasks.


+ Updating the project plans and other project deliverables as necessary.






**Implementation:**









+ Coordinating all implementation activities to ensure proper delivery of the communications solutions per requirements.


+ Determining implementation time frames and risks.


+ Coordinating and gaining consensus on change windows with change management and other IT teams and submission and tracking of Change Management tickets for implementation.


+ Coordinating the installation of equipment and connections with Move/Add/Change team.


+ Testing of connectivity solutions post implementations.


+ Ensuring Compliance of all Changes with standards.


+ Delivering all Projects and Changes Right the First Time as most of our SLA for service uptime are 99.999% and greater.






**Qualifications/Requirements:**









+ Bachelor's degree from accredited university in business, technical or equivalent field with 5+ years experience in relative IT fields including

+ LAN, MAN and WAN devices.

+ Cisco Routing and Switching CCIE level knowledge

+ Wireless Technologies

+ Firewalls (Cisco ASA and Palo Alto) and Load Balancers (F5)


+ 4+ years experience in leading large size projects.


+ Comprehensive technology knowledge in designing, implementation, administration and support of Cisco platforms. In-depth knowledge of deploying IP protocols and troubleshooting. Experienced in layer 2 switching and 3 routing


+ Experience on F5 load balancers is a bonus

+ Good knowledge of available technologies, systems design and business processes.


+ Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of business applications used in a large, diverse business organization.


+ Solid written and verbal communications skills.


+ Solid teaming and collaboration skills.
