The Software Support Analyst provides excellent customer support of software systems to both internal
and external customers. As a key member of the IT Infrastructure team, this role is tasked with supporting
Vetsource customers with technical support in problem solving our production systems. Collaborate with
the Engineering team to document, research, and provide solution-based recommendations.

Essential Duties
? Demonstrate ownership and maintain work queues while researching and resolving items
? Provide support for business systems, resolving inquiries and issues.
? Recognize and escalate high priority items
? Partners with business and engineering teams to aid in investigation and analysis of support
requests
? Recommends Improvements to Business Systems
? Uses sound judgement and communicates professionally and empathetically with customers
? Build and contribute to a product knowledge base to assist in training and job aids.
? Regularly communicate updates to stakeholders
? Utilizes SQL, REST, Loggly, Rundeck and other tooling to aid with research, test and resolution

Experience and Qualifications:
? Must have a strong technical aptitude and must be a quick learner with the ability to understand
software workflow capability and constraints.
? Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
? Capability of translating and presenting complex issues
? Excellent customer service skills
? Desire to learn, improve performance, and ask questions
? Knowledge or understanding of SQL, Postman, System Logging tools, Command Line, Rundeck

Education/Experience:
Associates Degree in computer science, computer information systems or a related field,
experience may be considered in lieu of education
1-2 years of IT/Software Support
Working knowledge of JIRA
