Informa Business Intelligence, part of the FTSE 100 Informa Group, is currently hiring for a highly skilled Service Delivery Manager to join our growing technology team within our Pharma intelligence vertical based in our London office.


The Service Delivery Manager is a key management role within the Pharma Intelligence Technology team and is responsible for the management of BAU operations and service management for both the Client and internal facing websites and data services we provide. This is a new position within our Technology team created to improve the quality of service we deliver in terms of the performance, availability and business continuity of our product technology systems. Interaction with internal customers of the technology team and provision of information on service performance to both internal and clients will be a key. The role will have direct reports in the internal technology team, and also responsibility for a number of vendors that provide development and operations resource.


As a FTSE 100 company, Informa has its own standards for Technology Operations, meeting and exceeding these, managing risk and continuous service improvement during a period of significant investment in technology make this an exciting and challenging role. We require an experienced Service Delivery Manager with experience of managing operations for multiple online delivery platforms in a cloud (ideally AWS) environment.


What we are looking for:


  • Extensive Service Delivery Experience in online delivery environments
  • Track record of establishing Service Level model and successful operation of the same
  • Vendor relationship and performance management experience
  • Evidence of commitment and achievement of continuous improvement to process and practice
  • Budget management experience in a matrix organisation model
  • Experience of Service Delivery in both data centre and Cloud based environments
  • ITIL qualifications beyond Foundation
  • Demonstrable experience working with a full product development and software delivery lifecycle
  • Ability to communicate deeply technical data principles to both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Ability to communicate with vendors and build relationships in open source communities to extract pertinent knowledge to BI’s gain
  • Understanding of the commercial context in which you have operated and the implications of actions for the wider business
  • Evidence of bringing innovation to your work and acting as a catalyst for change
  • Commercial Experience working in Data Collection, Data Enhancement and Delivery of products
