Role Summary:GE Digital's Industrial Managed Services team has a deep global portfolio of unique subject matter expertise which we use, in partnership with our customers, to generate dramatic results in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) every single day. Utilizing the latest software, cloud platforms, machine learning, and data science technologies, we operate from 7 global locations and support more than 170 languages to make the global industrial world safer, more efficient, and more effective.

Essential Responsibilities:The GE Digital Industrial Managed Services team focuses on working directly with customers, to support and guide customer operational decisions leveraging results from multiple asset management, data science, and machine learning solutions.

The Staff Delivery Engineer will actively participate in driving a culture of trust, transparency, and accountability. This individual will drive the knowledge level of their entire team and will be able to engage customers and help answer detailed technical customer questions and provide consulting guidance on customer operational issues.

In this role, you will:

Place customer satisfaction at the center of everything you do, ensuring customers are super-pleased with our continuous consulting services which are delivered daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly

Work directly with customers to help them leverage the latest software technology, data science, machine learning, and industry best practices to transform their industrial processes

Leverage the team's deep industrial expertise to provide operational support to customers, helping them make data driven decisions

Drive and participate in a global team culture of continuous improvement, best practice sharing, and open collaboration

Quickly learn and master industrial processes, industrial methodologies, and assets related to assigned industry verticals

Quickly master cutting edge predictive analytics, asset management, and data science software and tools.

Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors Degree (Master's preferred) in engineering or similar degree in science or technology

5 to 15 years of industry relevant work experience

Eligibility Requirements:

Legal authorization to work in the location where position is hired.

Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen

Must be willing to travel 15%.

Desired Characteristics: Specific Experience in the Following Areas Desired: Mining, Nuclear Power Generation, Oil and Gas Exploration, Transportation, LNG Processing, Oil and Gas Refining

Specific Software Experience in the Following Areas Desired: SmartSignal, Vibration Analysis, System 1 / Emerson, Excel

Technical Expertise:

- Proactively makes or recommends decisions based on in-depth analysis; Able to define critical problems to be solved; Identifies data sources required to execute analytic; With guidance from manager, able to select and conduct advanced analytic techniques.

- Demonstrates ability to diagnose and solve basic to intermediate issues; Able to isolate moderately complex scenarios down to actionable items within designated job function; Can be utilized to problem solve at customer sites as the GE representative.

- Has demonstrable expertise and understanding of one or more products. Acts as a resource for others in solution design. Knows best practices which result in higher adoption of solutions based on product capabilities. Ability to communicate product capabilities internally and in customer facing situations.

- Understands the domain and the problem space in the domain. Communicates and translates customer needs into more technical requirements.


- Helps team members understand their contributions in support of the broader direction. Continuously measures the completion rate of personal and team deliverables and compares them to the scheduled commitments.
