**Role Summary:**



As part of GE Treasurys Operations team, this role will provide functional expertise around disbursements processing & reporting to develop new capabilities within the payment and reporting hub. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in supporting the target state vision for disbursements & reporting and enable businesses and enterprise systems adopt new capabilities and consolidate their payments& reporting through the payment hub.







**Essential Responsibilities:**







+ Profile and landscape the various forms of disbursements, reporting and payment channels used to fulfil payment obligations e.g. buy to pay, payroll, tax, vendor payments etc. as well as collections through bank reporting or using products like direct debits/drawdown/pre-authorized payment methods



+ Develop a wing-to-wing process to support various disbursement types in the payment factory e.g. domestic ACH, Fed wire, CHIPS, cross-border and domestic such as CHAPS, Faster payments etc.



+ Develop a wing-to-wing process support for various collections products e.g. direct debits/drawdown/pre-authorized payments



+ Develop and support wing-to-wing bank reporting processes and integrations with ERPs, reconciliation and cash application platforms



+ Liaise with payment factory design team to develop optimal capabilities required to handle the entire life-cycle of payments & reporting



+ Familiarize with the agile development methodology and develop user stories to support various payment flows, incorporate bank onboarding requirements and acceptance criteria to validate the solution



+ Participate in testing, rollout, training and run support of disbursement & reporting activities to global operations teams



+ Create and support management updates and communication plans with the businesses







**Qualifications/Requirements:**







+ Bachelors degree in Finance, business, accounting or related and at least 7 years of related work experience



+ Cash management knowledge with expertise around payments & reporting



+ Demonstrated project management skills.



+ Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and data management skills.







**Desired Characteristics:**







+ Finance IT or accounting expertise



+ Demonstrated success in leading/delivering on projects and driving process simplification.



+ Strong interpersonal skills, can-do-attitude / self-starter



+ Independent judgment with strong analytical skills and excellent organizational skills



+ Ability to effectively collaborate across business and functions to deliver on goals and objectives



+ Commitment for process improvement;



+ Willingness to travel ~15%







ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
