**Role Summary:**

GE Inspection Services is a leading provider of NDE Services to the industrial, petrochemical and utility markets, with five office locations (Los Angeles, CA; Mobile, AL; Houston, TX; Richmond, VA) and multiple permanent job site assignments throughout the United States. As the Senior NDE Technician (Level II / III), you will have the opportunity to receive continued training on the latest technology and the opportunity to work on cutting edge equipment.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

As the Senior NDE Technician (Level II / III), you will:

+ Be responsible for on-siteinspection for the customer

+ Maintain operation excellence and technical quality

+ Be part of the Delivery Process: delivery ofservices on time, safely, and with the highest quality possible

+ Lead and supervise other NDE technicians and projectpersonnel in providing the primary service of inspection performance to theClient

+ Support training, technique development, and deliveryof specialized services utilizing automated and computerized inspectionsystems, where qualified


+ High School Diploma / GED

+ Two-Year Technical Degree or equivalent experience

+ Minimum of 5 years in the industry


+ Ability and willingness to travel 80% of the time, both domestically and internationally, which may include short notice and stays at customer locations for 2 - 6 week durations

+ Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a valid Drivers License

+ Ability and willingness to pass a Background Security Check

+ Level II / III certifications in NDE methods: MT, PT, UT and RT

**Desired Characteristics:**

+ Associates Degree in a Technical discipline or equivalent experience

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing NDT methods in the field (i.e., Petrochemical, Aerospace, Utility etc..)

+ Highly proficient in Eddy Current, Guided Wave or AdvancedUT Inspections

+ Strong presentation skills

+ Proven ability to work with minimum supervision

+ Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

+ Customer service oriented

+ Experience with PAUT / TOFD and ET

+ Electrical Power Research Institute (EPRI) Certified Level II in accordance with ASNT TC-1-A or ACCP Level II certification

+ Experience with code examinations (ASME, AWS, API) and military specifications
