Job Description

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Training, the Sr. Manager, Commercial Training and Development is responsible for identifying, building, and executing development solutions that enhance customer engagement, improve knowledge and skills for field sales  (Representatives and Regional Sales Managers), and aid to develop talent through either emerging manager programs or advanced professional development resources. In addition to creating relevant knowledge, skill and leadership development resources; this individual will play a key role working in collaboration with therapeutic trainers, product managers, and when relevant, sales leadership in the planning and project management of National Field Meetings and Plan of Action Meetings to ensure consistency of training methodology and processes. The individual will be responsible for safeguarding that a holistic approach is implemented, and the business and/or development resources/workshops/presentations created, align to stated needs and objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities                                                                           

  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to identify, recommend and implement new, creative and innovative learning & development offerings, techniques and applications for relevant stakeholders
  • Strategically analyze, plan, develop, and implement initiatives, training programs and systems that will increase customer engagement and access as well as internal stakeholder skills, knowledge, and practices
  • Partner with subject matter experts in different functional areas internally and externally to identify training needs, assess skill gaps, and ultimately design and facilitate appropriate and meaningful training programs
  • Establish metrics and measurements  to evaluate the success of training and development programs


  • 7 + years of industry experience in the following areas: sales, marketing, and training/development
  • Demonstrated ability to move quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
  • Perform in high pressure and fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously


Education Required

  • BA/BS degree in education, science, communication or business-related field
