A leading, publicly-traded, multinational technology company is looking for a bright, self-motivated lawyer
with strong commercial legal experience to join its in-house legal team and assist with a broad range of
corporate and transactional matters. This is a Corporate Attorney position in the U.S. reporting directly
into the chief legal counsel for the US region. The position will be based in Chandler, AZ.


ASML is a world leader in the manufacture of advanced technology systems for the semiconductor

research and development facilities are located in Connecticut, California and the Netherlands.

## Job Mission

This position will report to the chief legal counsel for the US Region. ASML’s worldwide Legal Department
consists of several attorneys, supported by paralegals and contract managers. We are a close knit group
of highly empowered, business oriented lawyers with broad responsibilities who enjoy working together.

## Job Description



* Providing legal support to the US sales and service groups, including interpreting, drafting, reviewing
and negotiating various customer related agreements and documents.


* Working closely with other members of the legal department and outside counsels to provide legal
support in the areas of contracts, IP, compliance, employment, and litigation.


* Providing day-to-day legal advice to various business units and other internal clients.


* Participating in corporate transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships, alliances,
and collaborations.


* Perform other duties as assigned.

## Education

Must have a J.D. Degree and have a membership in a State Bar or equivalent experience

## Experience

Must have 6-8 years of relevant legal experience (some in-house experience preferred).


* Substantial experience with commercial contracts and other corporate transactions is necessary.
Must have direct experience in negotiating business transactions and strong background in
commercial law.


* Prefer candidates with exposure in international business and high technology environments.


* Individual must be flexible, be practical and a team player, be organized, and have strong work ethics.


* Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multitask.


* Must be able to work independently without day to day supervision.


* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


* Excellent judgment and critical thinking skills.
