If you love analyzing large volumes of data, desire to engineer solutions working in Big Data Analytics environment and want to apply both software development and mathematical expertise, this role is full of opportunity for you.

You will apply your highly developed, highly analytical skills and your experience with data engineering to enable deployment of Analytical solution that will to delight our customers, create business impact and improve outcomes across our business.

Works with customer and team to source the required data
Normalizes and transforms disparate data (structured, semi-structured and un-structured) to ensure the target data is ready for analysis and processing
Able to rapidly develop and integrate software in support of advanced analytical solutions to understand new possibilities to drive the business
Provide advanced visual analytical functions to help to aid with the identification of patterns, trends and anomalies
Optimize development of a modern Data Analytics Platform architected on a microservices architecture using a combination of open source and COTS tools including DataLab, Kafka, NiFi, Spark, Druid, etc.
Evaluate, recommend and optimize the right data ingestion and transformation methods to support project requirements
Work with Data Scientists to convert models and embed them into Analytical Big Data Platforms for operational use
Provision and enable compelling visualizations to communicate insights to executive management
Provide thought leadership and contribute to expanding the knowledge base within area of expertise which includes exploring new methods, tools, techniques and criteria for normalizing and transforming data
Collaborate across businesses, functions, and regions to align strategy and direction with corporate and divisional approaches, systems, information and support.


Statistics and related disciplines


6-12+ years of experience building and managing complex products/solutions.
Experience extracting, transforming, normalizing and making data ready for analysis.
Hands on expertise with MS SQL
Experience with Big Data platform development technologies -Spark, NiFi, Hadoop, Druid, etc.
Experience/ familiarity with cloud and containerization.
Has a background with advanced mathematics / statistics
Hands on expertise with visualization tools like Tableau, Qlikview, Spotfire or similar tools.
Ability to work with large set of disparate data independently.
Analytical and problem solving skills
Good verbal & written communication skills to interact with the relevant stakeholders
Flexibility to work across time zones and diverse cultures


Experience in R, Java, C, C++, .NET programming experience.
Experience with Hadoop, Map/Reduce, Hive or equivalent
Proven success executing multiple parallel projects
