Physical Requirements

Moving and lifting objects from floor to above shoulders, standing/walking with objects up to 25 pounds. Standing and sitting at computer terminals and laboratory bench completing repetitive tasks for extensive periods of time. Occasional job related travel.

Shift

Primarily Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm

Job Summary

The Saha CVRC and Temel laboratory strive to investigate medical illness as part of the tripartate mission of service, teaching, and research.

This senior position will enable the completion of complex research experiments and train students (pre and post doctoral).

Successful candidate will be familiar with murine and larger animal models.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Basic lab skills, (e.g., pipetting, aseptic technique for cell culture); ability to follow detailed lab protocols; basic computer skills (e.g., MS windows, excel).

Preferred Education/Experience

PhD in a related field (science preferred) and at least 3 years research and or laboratory work preferred.
