Sales Operations Administrators – Informa | Financial Intelligence, Boston, MA; New York, NY; Alpharetta, GA

 

Informa Financial Intelligence has newly created opportunities for Sales Operations Administrators to sit in our offices in either Boston, MA; New York, NY; or Alpharetta, GA.

 

The Sales Operations Administrators will be responsible for and manage the global sales for Financial Intelligence through the order to cash/fulfilment process.  They will ensure that each order is handled efficiently for the process to be as smooth as possible.  They will smooth out issues in the process and ensure that the movement of the completed order from sales through to revenue recognition and fulfilment of product is as seamless as possible.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the approval process for an agreed area of responsibility
    • Rejecting orders that do not adhere to business rules/authority framework
    • Escalating queries to compliance
    • Ensuring orders adhere to data standards
    • Ensuring all orders meet criteria for successful processing on Finance Systems
  • Having a working knowledge and ability to cover a second agreed area of responsibility
  • Provide support to sales staff to ensure thorough understanding of the business requirements
  • Monitoring orders that between sales and fulfilled to ensure all orders are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Ensuring processed orders are correct and meet the high standards required to ensure the best customer experience
  • Work with Finance Intelligences sales, finance & Business operations teams in a positive manner to resolve issues in a pragmatic and timely fashion
  • Communication of changes to process and business rules to ensure understanding by co-workers and other teams
  • To highlight any practices that are not aligned to the standard process and identify issues that affect the customer experience
  • Ad-hoc projects as required

 

Experience & Skills:

  • Strong computer literacy
  • In-depth knowledge of SFDC
  • Microsoft office, especially Excel
  • Strong communication skills, written and oral
  • Financially literate with good mathematical skills
  • Ability to trouble-shoot queries and problems
  • Understanding of best practices in sales order processing
  • Bachelors Degree required
