Perspecta is currently seeking candidates for aDirector of Review Operations.Candidates near Loveland, CO or Slippery Rock, PA are preferred. Other candidates may be considered.

The Director of Review Operations will play an integral role in profitability of the contracts, hiring and managing the staff required to accomplish the successful review support of all contracts and maintainingquality and integrity while addressing constant change and responding to the complex nature of Perspecta RDGs contracts in a fashion profitable to Perspecta RDG.

This position is directly responsible for all case review operations to include Case Review Management staff, Review staff all in support of all Perspecta RDG contracts. The Director of Review Operations will have functional responsibility for one or more of the following areas: Case Review, Investigator Practices, and contract specific liaison duties.

This position will:

  • Keep the program management staff fully informed of all issues and matters of significance and will take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action;
  • Keep Management fully informed of all information related to workload capacity, case material handling as well as staffing issues, training needs and project updates for these departments; and
  • Keep the VP fully informed of all issues and matters of significance and take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action.

Essential Functions

  • Works with other various internal departments to ensure compliance and quality standards with contract specifications as well as Perspecta RDG guidelines and policies
  • Extensive interaction with senior management, with the customer and within Perspecta RDG
  • Provides overall direction for activities related to the assigned functional areas
  • Provides senior level leadership of program including planning, communicating vision, short- and long-range goals, objectives, priorities and requirements
  • Responsible for developing, communicating and maintaining SOPs on all procedures and functions within department and effectively communicating all updates to all department staff members, Field Staff & PMO Staff. Ensures best practices are in line with the needs and goals of the federal background investigative services project and Perspecta RDG
  • Ensures files are tracked and maintained by approved means in compliance with the current PII or contract specific policy and provides destruction results to the EVP on time
  • Provides direct daily supervision of subordinates including hiring, training, evaluation, disciplinary action, coaching, counseling and termination actions
  • Promotes a cooperative and harmonious working climate which is conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, innovation, efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ability to develop and implement an organizational vision that integrates key program goals, priorities and values to improve customer service and program performance
  • Participates in strategic planning and corporate development activities to include presentation of information related to resource management, internal capacity, timelines for implementation and corporate direction
  • Effectively manages personnel by maintaining a qualified staff, communicating areas of accountability and performance expectations, determining standards of performance as a basis to review progress of personnel, recommending salary adjustments, transfers and promotions
  • Ensures proper training of personnel
  • Must be able to travel regularly as required


  • Degree in an area such as business, accounting, organizational management, or public administration
  • Candidates must meet one of the following:
    • Bachelors degree, plus 16-18 years of progressively responsible business experience
    • Masters degree, plus 14+ years of progressively responsible business experience
    • PhD degree, plus 10+ years of progressively responsible business experience
  • Experience in quality control and process improvements preferred (such as Lean Sigma or Six Sigma)
  • Experience with business financials to include budgeting, forecasting and profit and loss preferred
  • Government Program or Government Contract program Management experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of the OPM Investigator Handbook preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work on a team, and ability to work effectively with all levels within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills with the flexibility to manage multiple tasks and projects with short deadlines and changing priorities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality requirements of assigned work which will include sensitive, protected materials
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with allclient groups
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Leadership skills and independent decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Federal Background Investigation REQUIRED please read.

The chosen candidate for this position must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a government security clearance as well as a suitable adjudication on all applicable contracts the company is assigned to work on. This clearance requires U.S. citizenship and will include an investigation of 10+ years of history including such items as financial, education, employment, medical, residence and personal records. The cost of this investigation will be paid by Perspecta.
