REPORTS TO: Service Supervisor Department: Service Job Summary: Under direct supervision, the technician performs manual and maintenance tasks as well as minor repairs to equipment in a safe and professional manner. Minimum

High school diploma or equivalent Valid state class driver's license Minimum of 18 years of age Basic computers skills Must own tools applicable to position Related maintenance experience a plus Key Areas Responsibilities Duties Under direct supervision, the technician performs manual and maintenance tasks as well as minor repairs to equipment in a safe and professional manner. Maintain a clean and safe work area, follow all safety procedures and policies. Maintain positive customer relations through professional interactions with customers, both internal and external. Clean equipment. Attend formal training. Load and unload equipment. Prepare new equipment for sale. Perform minor repairs with minimal supervision. Perform routine maintenance, check on equipment before and after use for damage, hours used, tires, mileage, fuel levels, safety decals, and safety compliance. Perform, in a safe manner, minor repairs of equipment and tools including checking oil, grease, fluids and tagging of equipment for customer-ready status. Communicate with lead technician, counter person and/or service manager for equipment, maintenance requirements and repair parts Provide assistance to all other levels of technicians as needed in regard to troubleshooting repairs. Check out, familiarize, and demonstrate equipment for customers. Perform other duties as assigned/required. Maintain paperwork documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily/job basis as well as documentation of labor. When necessary and without supervision, accurately order needed parts using reference material as required, including communication with all necessary vendors and suppliers. Repair small/gasoline engines Appearance Maintain a professional, business-like appearance at all times when representing the Company. Working Conditions Must be able to drive for extended periods of time if needed. Employee is occasionally is submitted to high levels of stress. Employee is frequently exposed to adverse weather conditions. Physical Requirements Activities require handling and grasping with hands when performing repairs or maintenance of equipment by utilizing hand tools power tools, air tools, nuts, bolts, electronic controls and other small parts. Ability to operate foot pedal on equipment to test operation. Frequent lifting up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Exposure to loud noise, dust, gas or fumes. Work in unprotected weather elements. Ability to wear hearing and eye protection as required. Ability to bend at the waist and kneel for prolonged periods of time. Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least four hours per day. Ability to climb over or into equipment several times per day. General & Other Duties Follow standard operating procedures. Must adhere to all company and department personnel policies and procedures.
