Provides accounts receivable/collections expertise, consultation, education, and direction to Trinity Health Senior Communities long term care communities' business offices. Responsible for overseeing the private pay collections and Medicaid application process, development of business office related policies/procedures, oversight of the resident trust fund, support of the Patient Accounting software applications, and oversight of the daily/monthly A/R functions to ensure meeting department goals and objectives. Responsible for comprehensive business office assessments for new sites and managing new contracts related to business office operations.

**_Candidates will have:_**

* Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting preferred. Associates Degree and progression towards obtaining a Bachelor's Degree, with experience in private pay collections or business office operations may be substituted for education. A combination of education and experience may be acceptable. Extensive knowledge of federal, state long term care regulations/standards Medicare, Medicaid and third party expertise preferred. Knowledge of private pay collections procedures as well as experience in working with attorney services.

* Must be action-oriented, have business acumen, manage conflict well, be customer focused, have high decision quality, flexibility to adapt to ongoing change and have organizational agility. Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment.

* Excellent organizational skills. Ability to perform multiple duties and functions related to daily operations and maintain excellent customer service skills. Ability to perform frequent detailed tasks and provide immediate service with frequent interruptions. Ability to change and be flexible with work priorities. Strong problem solving skills.

Travel in the geographic region required.
