Department: D0049 Registrar

Description
The Records Analyst is responsible for specific student records processes within the department. Interprets records policy and procedures to student's faculty and staff. It also provides and oversees a diverse range of support activities for the department.

DUTIES

  • Reviews, processes and audits student record requests
  • Troubleshoots and formulates responses to student record inquiries and appeals
  • Assists with establishing processing time-lines and deadline dates
  • Reviews published information concerning student records requests and suggests updates
  • Provides support to staff members as needed

MARGINAL DUTIES

  • Disseminates enrollment-related information throughout the University
  • Represents the department on various university committees and planning groups
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of trends, issues, and accepted practices relevant to the position

Skills:

  • Candidates must have strong analytical and problem solving skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Abilities:

  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community

WORK LOCATION AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Primary Work Location: Works in an office environment 6 to 8 hours.
Physical Demands: Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any unpleasant elements. Position is physically comfortable; individual has discretion about walking, standing, etc.
Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks.
