Job Summary

The Department of Agricultural Economics at the University of Kentucky seeks a Post Doctoral Scholar who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and publishing research related to the economics of agricultural production and hemp under the direction of Drs. Tyler Mark and Nicholas Pates. Opportunities for undergraduate teaching may also be available depending on departmental needs. Required qualifications consist of a Ph.D. in agricultural economics or a closely related field; strong written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of agricultural production; and expertise in managing data, conducting econometric and simulation modeling, and preparing publication-quality research manuscripts. This is a temporary position extending from the date of hire until September 30, 2021, with potential for reappointment contingent upon funding availability and departmental need.
