**Role Summary:**

Petrophysicist advisor is a key member of Geoscience and Petroleum Engineering team. He/she will do full-field review from petrophysical perspective and support other Product Lines as trusted advisor. This role will do hands-on work of petrophysical analysis from wellbore-scale into field-scale, technical and coaching presentations, generate reports, and some business development involvement.

The successful Petrophysicist Advisor will have extensive communication at all levels, have good personal confidence, and comfortable with client interactions.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

+ Hands-on work and advice for Petrophysics discipline in full-field review and subsurface works

+ Data QC and review of petrophysical information (e.g. core data, well logging data, petrophysical report, etc)

+ Working on log corrections and analysis, lithology determination, pay-zone identification, formation water analysis, porosity and permeability calculation, rock typing for clastic and carbonate reservoir, saturation model, saturation height function

+ Generate full-field / reservoir geological static model

+ Technical presentation and generate reports

+ Support Product Lines to provide best technical evaluation


+ Bachelor degree. Master / Phd degree will be advantageous.

+ 15+ years experiences of petrophysics in oil and gas company with operating companies

+ Experience on clastic shaly-sand / thin-bed and carbonate fracture reservoir

+ Strong varied petrophysical background experience

+ Have international experiences outside Indonesia at least 2 years

+ Have experiences in Australia and Asia Pacific reservoir will be advantageous

+ Familiar with software for petrophysical analysis

+ Valid to work in Indonesia

+ Fluent in speaking and writing in English and Bahasa Indonesia

**Desired Characteristics:**

+ Confidence and technically-strong to provide detail explanation, mentoring, coaching, depth-knowledge in petrophysics, and able to do comprehensive and detail petrophysical analysis from core, logs, and other data with limited supervision.
