Job Details

Payroll Responsibilities

  • Perform bi-weekly payroll process from start to finish with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Collaborate and communicate closely with Human Resources and Managers to assure employee data is accurate for the next processing cycle
  • Set up and maintain garnishment processing per state and federal regulations
  • Calculate Workers Compensation insurance and process payment
  • Process off-cycle payroll and/or individual payment to an employee outside the current pay period
  • Provide high level of professionalism and customer service to all employees’ questions adhering to strict confidentiality and quality service
  • Partner with Accounting, Tax, and HR to generate reports to support inquiries, audits, planning and forecasting, benefits interface and other payroll needs
  • Utilize UltiPro to process payroll.

 

HR Assistant Duties

  • Recruitment assistance:
    • Job postings on company career site
    • Job placement with various outside recruitment sites
    • Pre-screening communication and processing of potential hires
  • Filing and organization
  • Storage records management
  • HRIS data entry
  • Assist with compliance documentation
  • Other duties and projects as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
  • Experience with HRIS system(s)
  • UltiPro experience a plus.
