## Job Mission

This individual is intended to support and maintain multiple vacuum systems used in manufacturing of precision optical thin film coatings. The applicant will need to have advanced computer skills and be familiar with SAP. The ability to read and understand schematics and manuals, as well as follow written and verbal work instructions is required. Troubleshooting and quick decision making is needed on a daily basis. Vacuum training and system building is a must. The candidate should be able to program, maintain, evaluate, troubleshoot, and tear down equipment. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, technical college degrees are a plus.

## Job Description

Advanced knowledge of High Vacuum equipment

Advanced high vacuum pump knowledge and service : “Cryogenic, dry pumps, and turbo molecular”

Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints and technical drawings

Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience – PLC experience preferred

Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP, required

Ability to lift 30 pounds and follow strict company safety rules

Self starter mentality and good manual dexterity is needed for handling expensive finished optics.

Interpersonal skill to work with management and technicians to establish and complete priority activities and maintenance schedules

Familiarity with overhead crane operation and basic safety

Experience with ISO9001 and ISO 14000 requirements.




## Education

Minimum of a High school diploma or GED, College degree a plus or equivalent experience.

## Experience

Technical certificate a plus
Vacuum Training / thin film training a plus
Machine Maintenance and Repair skills a plus
