The Defense group supports the Department of Defense (DoD) mission to keep our homeland and its citizens safe. We provide solutions to improve the Nation's defense by providing software, systems engineering, IT, training and logistics and fleet management solutions.


The Network Defense and Analysis Manager shall:

a. Lead and manage a diverse work force supporting cybersecurity for mission-critical Air Force networks which include terrestrial and satellite links.
b. Provide technical reports, meeting minutes, program plans, concepts of operations, contingency plans, and related documentation as identified for task deliverables
c. Prepare and disseminate operational reports including, but not limited to: AF Computer Emergency Response Team (AFCERT) daily operations report (DOR), operation report (OPREP), and situational report (SITREP), incident response, law enforcement reports, and recovery operations reports, Information Protection Bulletins (IP Bulletins), AFCERT Time Compliance Network Orders (TCNOs), malicious logic/virus notifications, INFOCONs, and other messages.
d. Support government task leads and provide technical direction to contractor staff in the following areas:
(1) Real-time monitoring of all assigned IPS/IPS deployed and supporting the USAFCENT/USCENTCOM mission.
(2) Coordinate and execute USCYBERCOM and AF Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) notices as applicable on USCENTCOM networks/systems.
(3) Maintain IDS/IPS devices to ensure they are operating at optimal efficiency.
(4) Maintain Crew certification as required to operate on USCENTCOM, USAFCENT, and AF networks.
(5) Network Event Correlation/Advanced Traffic Analysis.
(6) Incident Response & Analysis.
(7) Vulnerability Analysis.
(8) IDS/IPS Sensor Maintenance.
(9) Network Defense Training.
(10) Present network defense actions/activities for USAFCENT and USCENTCOM mission briefings.
(11) Standardization & Evaluation.
(12) Systems and Exercise Planning.
(13) Provide Network Defense Technical Reports.
e. Ensure cybersecurity policies are up to date with all USCYBERCOM, Air Force and other government direction.
f. Collaborate with government stakeholders, teammates and other contractors to meet all mission requirements efficiently and effectively.
g. Provide expert technical analysis and direction to optimize mission performance while minimizing program risks.
h. Help ensure program compliance with all government laws, policies and regulations and directives.
i. Institute and maintain industry best-practice standards, processes, and methodologies.


Required experience and qualifications:

- M.S. in related field and 7 or more years relevant experience (preferred); OR 10 or more years of relevant IT experience.

- Active TS/SCI clearance or a final TS clearance with SCI eligibility

Must hold all of the following certifications:
- Network+ CE
- ITIL Foundation

Desired experience and qualifications; it is desired that the candidate meet one or more of the following experience requirements

- CEH certification.
- Experience with network architectures and vulnerabilities including both satellite and terrestrial TCP/IP networks.
