Individual will be required to commute to the Horsham, PA office for a certain period of time for training and transition through Q4 2019; Limited domestic travel once position is relocated to Parsippany.

 

Job Description

To lead the general ledger accounting team and perform and support the activities and analysis for the Finance Group, specifically surrounding shared services, unclaimed property and transfer pricing.

 

Responsibilities:

This position will manage the shared services accounting function. This includes processing intercompany shared services invoices and billing intercompany shared services activities to various TEVA legal entities (International and Domestic).  This individual will work closely with the BP&A finance teams to ensure proper allocation and reclassification of expenses.  This individual will also work with global mobility team to ensure proper handling of the expat billing process.

 

This position will manage the unclaimed property process.  This individual will work closely with 3rd party vendors to prepare annual state filings of funds to be escheated.  Ensure compliance with    unclaimed property state regulations and internal policies and procedures and act as liaison with the unclaimed property state auditors.

 

This position will be involved in the Teva USA global transfer pricing analysis.  This individual will work closely with the tax and cost accounting teams to complete the analysis.  It will require interaction with many different areas and groups within the organization to obtain the information needed.

 

Responsibilities for all of these areas will include preparation of journal entries, preparation of working papers/schedules, review of all schedules, and departmental analysis. 

 

Supervise direct and indirect reports.  Assist with questions and issues in a timely manner, work with direct reports to create goals and assist in helping them achieve their goals.  Responsible for ongoing process improvements and ensuring the team is working efficiently.

 

Participate in providing effective service to customers of financial data. Serve as resource for financial information internally and with external auditors during quarterly audits; perform Ad Hoc requests of detailed financial information in an accurate and timely manner.

 

   

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and related experience; CPA License a plus.

 

Minimum 6+ years accounting and/or auditing experience.  Excellent communication and organizational skills.

 

Experience with leading/supervising staff. Public accounting experience highly preferred.

 

Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, Oracle, SAP, JDE
