Job Description

The LifeCycle Management Brand Director, Marketing Lead work with Sr Director marketing to develop new indication strategy and lead launch planning team including: market evaluation, identification of issues and opportunities within a given market, development of strategies and then work with internal and external partners to create strategic and operational plans to enable the operational marketing team to implement tactics aligned with the strategies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the LifeCycle Management development of the annual Brand Plan, AOP, and LRP strategy plan with solid KPIs
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team members and the external partners to lead the creation and delivery of strategy and operational launch readiness plan for new indications
  • Organize Life Cycle Management research and ensure insights are pulled through cross functional launch materials
  • Develop Life Cycle Management Customer Journeys with appropriate strategy and oversight of implementation of operational plans
  • Effectively work with internal partners and leadership to conduct financial analysis, create P&Ls, and create various financial scenarios  to define the potential of Life cycle management opportunities, and the necessary components to make a decision for the organization.
  • Identify potential risks to the development plan and develop potential solutions to minimize or remove the risks in order to keep the project on plan with regards to timing and budget.
  • Scan the healthcare and competitive market set in order to identify trends that will impact the LCM of the brand in order to ensure these considerations are included in the overall evaluation.
Core Competencies
  • Skilled in identifying appropriate assumptions for development of product forecasts, coordinating and presenting forecasts, and analyzing and maximizing brand across multiple P&Ls
  • Identify Market Research needs for brand and work with MR to implement initiatives in order to derive a robust set of actionable insights that are used to developed the strategy and financial potential
  • Understands and communicates the impact of the brand Work plan on the franchise, BU, division and company
  • Develops positioning for future LCM opportunities to ensure effective commercialization
  • Capable of leading large and small cross-functional Brand Team and inputting voice of team into strategic and tactical direction
  • Skilled in defining scope of work , developing agency contract,  effectively providing agency feedback and managing switch in agencies based upon appropriate rationale
  • Skilled at identifying needs and root causes, use of decision support tools and development of project plans
  • Skilled at leading the development of brand strategy for product pricing, contracting & distribution to ensure optimal uptake upon launch
Qualifications

Experience Required:

10 Years of pharmaceutical experience or relevant brand management experience;

5 years of marketing experience or equivalent (based on performance),

 

Experience Preferred:

Pharmaceutical experience outside of marketing function strongly preferred.

Brand management experience on more than one disease state.  Launch experience.

Experience and competence in staffing, people management and development

Experience in neurology and/or psychiatry.

Education Required:

Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred

Travel

Minimal: 1-2x month
