**Role Summary:**

The Proposal Manager will be responsible for the leadership and coordination of all aspects of the Invitation to Order (ITO) phase of multiple subsea control system projects.

The role will include proposal development, specification compliance, clarification/exception management, scope development, pricing, risk management, contract structuring, negotiation and issue resolution for contractual agreement.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

+ Owner of the commercial tendering process from receipt of ITT, proposal generation and approval, deal negation, closure and handover.

+ Ensure a compliant, accurate, timely and effective commercial process by leading and coordinating the required commercial reviews, managing the required approvals as well as coordinating the required information flow with the various teams involved.

+ Work closely with regional and COE Engineering and Product Management functions to understand customer drivers and ITT requirements and translate these into actionable and winning commercial strategies.

+ Ultimately responsible for the commercial part of tenders by identifying approval requirements, collaborating with various teams (which provide the necessary inputs), developing risk mitigation strategies, presenting the identified approval requirements to the associated approvers and document any given approvals.

+ In conjunction with the sales and tender managers, participate in the customer clarification/negotiation process.

+ Evaluate costs, pricing, commercial risks.

+ eRecord keeping in in various business tools including Salesforce (Deal Machine) and ARM.

+ Ensure engineering and manufacturing capacity sign off exist to support the execution of potential order.

+ Coordinate communications between commercial team and customers throughout bidding process.

+ Schedule and chair internal meetings related to bids including commercial and finance reviews.

+ Represent ITO function during bid technical reviews ensuring the solutions maximise competitive position and profitability.

+ Participate in global initiatives such as ITO process improvements, bid prioritization etc.


+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with in Sales).

+ Seasoned in Proposals.
