Job Description:

This position requires support to a wide range of projects throughout the systems for a large enterprise. The successful candidate must be able to clearly define architecture, system, and network requirements (hardware and software), as well as support planning and architecture development.

The candidate will work closely with other architects and system/network engineers to develop service capabilities, engaging with to bring those capabilities to reality. An understanding of the technical aspects of systems and networks vulnerabilities is required in order to provide oversight of development activities and technical advice to the customer. In addition, the candidate will have the responsibility to perform the duties of project Manager.

Job Duties:

The candidate will also be responsible to manage the system architecture team and to update/report all progress and concerns to the on-site Program Manager (PM). Collaborate with cross-functional team members to develop project technical documentation. Identify missing topics and fill gaps in existing information. Participate in the development of technical documentation, provide comments and suggest improvements, while maintaining configuration control over the documentation.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of modern systems and network architectures to include cloud technology, industry best practices for networking design solutions, along with the requirements of the supporting data center infrastructures. The candidate will leverage their technical background to create technical documentation that describes existing and proposed infrastructure and networking designs.

Educational Requirement/Skills:

The candidate will have B.S. degree with the following required skills:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to multi task

- Ability to translate technical details to generic concepts

- Understand Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM)

- Understand Network/System accreditation process Risk Management Framework (RMF) The candidate will have 10 years of the following required experience:

- Strong understanding of SCCM, HBSS, ACAS, IP networking, including familiarity with the functionality, operating, and failure modes of common networking devices, and the ability to analyze network behavior, performance and application issues.

 A minimum of 10 years’ experience managing and troubleshooting within an large enterprise

 Understanding of network hardware and software needs
 Experience in network design/network architecting and planning
 An understanding of network vulnerabilities

- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technologies and products, independently using documentation and online resources.
