Key Account Manager – Informa | Pharma Intelligence, NY/NJ/PA

 

Informa Pharma & Healthcare, part of Informa Business Information, is currently seeking a Key Account Director to join the team. We are looking for an experienced and energetic Key Account Manager with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to meet/exceed sales targets and service requirements to top 20 pharma companies as well as prospect new business and uncover additional opportunities. The position will be based out of New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania.

 

Informa Pharma Insights delivers insightful research and analysis on issues across the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical sectors. This role will report into the Director, Global Key Accounts. The Key Account Director will travel within the United States and occasionally Europe representing Pharma Intelligence Insights products and services, delivering presentations, negotiating, entertaining an engaging clients and prospects.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Establish a strong network of relationships across job functions at top pharma clients to ensure renewals and growth in key accounts.
  • Prospect and develop new business through conferences, cold calling and networking to develop a strong sales pipeline in order to meet growth targets.
  • Regularly update accounts plans, forecasts and Salesforce
  • Utilize internal partners – marketing, product management and content – to fully engage client and demonstrate the value and breadth of Informa Pharma Intelligence’s offerings.

 

Key Requirements

  • Proven and demonstrable strength in proactively sourcing prospects, growing existing clients and managing high-level multi-national accounts.
  • Confident, thoughtful and persistent with strong values and outstanding communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Provide proactive, continual and customer-focused account support and service to ensure client satisfaction, optimal usage and retention
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the issues and developments within the Pharmaceutical industry and overall Healthcare market

 

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Superior organizational, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop long-term customer relationships with senior-level executives
  • Working knowledge of salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
