The TIAM Projects Team delivers full lifecycle Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) services to the missions of NSG/ASG Users, providing technical leadership for mission-critical, operational systems/services and high-priority activities related to Needs and Collection Management.

Supporting the Customers GEOINT Needs and Collection Management Services Integrated Program Office (IPC), the TIAM Projects Jr. Systems Engineer/Integrator helps to provide the technical engineering and project management required to successfully maintain and enhance current needs and collection management services provided by the GEOINT Information Management Services (GIMS) and define the future for NSG/ASG needs and collection management. The TIAM Projects Jr. Systems Engineer/Integrator gains in-depth technical knowledge of Source operations, tasking and collection orchestration services, GEOINT platforms and suppliers, and Agile methodologies and has hands-on accountability for high-priority and high-visibility systems engineering, technical integration, and baseline management tasks.


  • Translate customer needs into system requirements/epics
  • Participate in the development of key engineering products, such as CONOPS, capability and interface specifications, enterprise integration schedules, and transition plans
  • Provide SE&I SME support to Development Contractors agile milestone events (e.g., Release Planning Event (RPE), Program Increment (PI)) and Program Management Reviews (PMRs)
  • Participate in Enterprise Reviews (NGA, Mission Partners, and Joint) for key initiatives with impacts to Needs/Collection Management
  • Generate enterprise test plans and lead test readiness and execution activities
  • Support/lead enterprise transitions for major system releases, coordinating all aspects of the transition (e.g, transition plan development, rehearsals, and day-of execution; governance board approvals)
  • Develop Requests for Change (RFCs) for IPC/GIMS, as required, and lead configuration control board process coordination
  • Monitor Enterprise RFCs for impacts to IPC/GIMS; report status and impact assessment at Customer forums
  • Conduct Enterprise schedule de-confliction analysis and present recommendations to Customer
  • Participate in Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and technical exchange meetings (TEMs) to serve as focal points for managing project execution and resolving enterprise issues
  • Support/lead the identification, tracking, mitigation, and resolution of technical risks and issues


Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI Clearance (with a current SSBI favorably adjudicated within the last 5 years)
  • Bachelors degree in applied sciences (e.g. Math, Computer Science, Earth Sciences, etc.) or related technical experience
  • 1+ years of systems integration, or systems development experience
  • 1+ years of experience in systems definition and development oversight
  • 1+ years of related experience with NGA or its IC partners
  • Demonstrated ability to identify technology gaps in capabilities and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to explain technical issues clearly/accurately to technical/non-technical audiences
  • Agile engineering and development methods (user story generation, sprint/scrum development, backlog management, test-driven development)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering
  • Advanced degree in a technical field
  • Exposure to national, tactical, and commercial GEOINT collectors and associated collection tasking and feasibility processes
  • Demonstrated NGA segment/service/system/project knowledge of tasking and collection services
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms
  • Agile certification (e.g., Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe))
