**Role Summary:**

Will be the single point of contact for business functions, end users and the global IT teams for ensuring operational stability of the site, with a clear focus on delivering user centric IT services. The role will encompass client services on PCs, mobile technology, L1-L3 support processes, communication, and financials.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

+ Own the delivery of operational IT infrastructure services at the site.

+ Ensure performance & availability of the sites infrastructure.

+ Ensure SLA for ticket and incident resolution of the site support vendor.

+ Provide tailored support solutions where needed (manufacturing); drive ticketless and self-support models.

+ Develop and maintain a continuity plan.

+ Lead site related operations projects, participate in global projects.

+ Manage change and upgrades projects of local infrastructure (voice, network, server, client) in partnership with GE Digital CoreTech and Global IS Infrastructure team members.

+ Support other teams in moving to a contemporary environment.

+ Work with business partners on prioritizing and executing locally IT improvement.

+ Run frequent analysis and continuously identify cost-out or productivity improvements present ideas.

+ Help creating yearly budget for the site.

+ Monitor and control operational spent (telecom, network, rent, lease, support).

+ Cut POs to local vendors when needed for operational maintenance.

+ Drive user experience.

+ Promote and develop self-support.

+ Drive ticketless support by engaging L2 onsite and L1 resources effectively.

+ Communicate and train locally, as well as globally.

+ Share best practices with other sites, and the larger GE IT community.

+ Be an active member of the global IT Team.

+ Support initiatives, projects, and RTS in other sites or functional areas.

+ Be an ambassador of Global IT policies for the site and user.

+ Listen to the voice of customer (VOC) and relay feedback to the global IT Team.

+ Effectively execute in a matrix organization to successfully complete deliverables.


+ Relevant experience and knowledge of desktop and mobile technologies, knowledge of security and communications networks, and knowledge of technical and user-related aspects.

+ English skills. Must be able to maintain a normal day-to-day fluid conversation on any topic.

+ Strong IT project management skills. Proven record of delivering infrastructure projects on time and on budget.

+ Database and application experience of additional benefit.

+ Working in a matrix organization and global delivery model.

+ Developed business acumen, drive urgency.

+ Hands-on mentality get things done.
