The IT Hardware and Software Asset Management Lead will oversee the planning and implementation of Hardware and Software Asset management for a large IT modernization effort supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). The lead will regularly interface with program and customer senior management and leadership. The successful candidate will provide advice and counsel regarding asset management and may play a role in overall program strategic planning. The Lead will oversee a team responsible for providing software and hardware management and control on behalf of the client.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying requirements for software, software licenses, and maintenance agreements to support DIA Service functionality where software licenses cannot be provided as Government-Furnished Property (GFP).
  • Identifying requirements for hardware and associated maintenance for server based hardware requirements and other non-end user device equipment.
  • Identifying requirements for hardware and software to support innovation, development, integration, and test environments.
  • Developing, delivering, maintaining, and implementing plans, processes, and techniques to identify, quantify, and monitor hardware and software assets (including licenses and maintenance agreements).
  • Providing the capabilities necessary to define, track, and control licenses procured under the contract and those licenses provided by the Government for the full period of performance of the contract. This capability should be on-line/remotely accessible through standard features (e.g., browser) to provide Government with situational awareness and ensure compliance with applicable license terms and conditions.
  • Delivering Hardware/Software Reports to track/audit hardware (e.g., equipment, parts, and materials) and software vendors, titles, licenses, quantities, costs, versions, and usage to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of each.
  • Maintaining records IAW Government identified policies to support audit requirements.


Required Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain a CI poly
  2. Bachelor's w/ 8-10 yrs. experience, Master's w/ 6-8 yrs. Experience
  3. Experience leading small teams

Desired Qualifications:

  1. STEM degree (e.g., computer science, management information systems, systems engineering).
  2. Experience with Agile development and associated documentation
  3. DIA systems experience [e.g., Machine-Assisted Analytic Rapid-Repository System (MARS), Generic Area Limitations Environment (GALE), Functional Intelligence System of Hierarchical Networks (FISHNet), FounDRI, Event Data, Defense
  4. Systems experience with another IC Agency (i.e. NGA, NSA, etc)
