Responsibilities

Perspecta is currently conducting interviews to make contingent offers for an exciting potential new customer, the Department of Labor (DOL). Candidates with current DOL clearances, and all other qualified personnel are encouraged to apply for immediate consideration.

  • Maintains records and control of property owned by company, vendors, contractors, and government agencies. Conducts inventories; arranges disposal of obsolete or no-longer-required.
  • Administers property control program activities to ensure continual accountability of company, government, or associate contractor, property and assets in accordance with applicable corporate policy or government regulations.
  • Maintains property accountability records and determines condition and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment.
  • Contacts potential users and negotiates transfers. Conducts property audits, develops, recommends, and implements property administration policies.
  • Provides guidance on company policy and government regulations pertaining to property accountability.
  • Prepares periodic and special purpose reports relative to such matters as taxes, rentals and leasing, insurance, facility usage, etc.
  • Maintains auditable records of government-owned property located at the facility and associated vendor/subcontractor facilities.
  • Works with Contract Administrators and Program Managers to insure that excess government property is identified as quickly as possible after contract completion.
  • Coordinates the training of employees on the Government Property Control System procedures and related FAR requirements.
  • Prepares draft procedure changes to implement FAR/DFARS requirements or locally directed management changes.
  • Performs self-assessment audits of compliance to published procedures and FAR/DFARS requirements.

IT asset management support for the ITOM contract shall include, but is not limited to, the following task areas:

  • Ability to identify inventory of IT hardware and software systems and their respective system owners
  • Ability to work with and implement IT service management tools
  • Tracking consolidated hardware and software assets (including licenses) and configuration items from acquisition to disposition
    Service Costs
  • License Management
  • Disposition processes
  • Lifecycle cost projections
  • CMDB

Qualifications

  • Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.
  • 10+ years experience in lieu of college degree is accepted.
  • ITIL v3 Foundational Level certification a plus.
  • Experience with ServiceNow a plus.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong initiative, problem solving, priority setting, and collaboration skills. Good organizational and analytical skills. Exhibits a high level of initiative and integrity. Possess creative ability, credibility and self confidence.
  • Per the client all employees working under this task order shall be United States Citizens or legal permanent residents (i.e. Green Card Holders).
  • Active Public Trust or the ability to obtain an active clearance.
