Job Description

Informa Business Intelligence is looking for a talented and motivated (and fun to work with) Recruiter to join our internal recruitment function based in our St.Paul’s offices. The internal recruitment team are crucial to the success of the business as it continues to scale and we are passionate about the candidate experience.

The In-House Recruiter is specifically tasked with hiring the very best Tech and Operational talent across Europe and the US. You will foster excellent relationships with internal stakeholders to find out what they really want (because you know a JD doesn’t tell you the full story) and you’ll then create strategies to find, engage and (directly) hire that talent.

 

You could be an agency recruiter who wants to make the move in-house, or an in-house recruiter ready for the next step – what we’re after is an organised, passionate, smart, focused and gregarious, proactive hunter of talent who can work in a fast-moving environment and engage even the most passive talent. Sound like you? OK, read on and check you have the following…

 

  • Previous end-to-end recruitment experience, we prefer you to have had some agency experience too.
  • Ideally you will have recruited for technology roles before, but if you can show us you’re a quick learner, that will work too.
  • You have a natural ability to influence without being pushy.
  • You love autonomy. We won’t be measuring call times or how much time you spend at your desk, but you get awesome results.
  • Like to change things up if you spot something isn’t working? Good, we need that too.
  • Provide guidance on appropriate interview techniques and questions; oversee scheduling and logistics of interviews when necessary. 
  • You will be an excellent communicator both internally and externally – you can craft brilliant e-mails and hold beautifully engaging phone calls.
  • You care about the experience of our candidates and understand what can make the process painful (and avoid those bits).
  • You have an eye for detail, nothing gets past you.
  • You will jump in and help your team without thinking twice.
