**Role Summary:**

This position will require you to manage and deliver on projects for our Health & Productivity team. This team has responsibility for delivering U.S. benefits including Paid/Regulated Time Off, Disability Program benefits, Life Insurance benefits, as well as administration of global Health & Wellness programs. Our goal is to create a culture of health for GE employees and their families across the globe, and provide a seamless benefit experience for employees when they are unable to work.



**Essential Responsibilities:**



+ Project Management: Lead and execute, or provide support to various large scale projects focused on excellence in customer service, simplification of processes, execution of annual processes, and development of new service offerings

+ Documentation Centralization: Lead team through ongoing migration to newly centralized documentation process/tools. Ensure team compliance with documentation storage guidelines, identify gaps, risks and opportunities in our process, content and tools and develop/implement action plans to address

+ Take lead on the assessment of customer-facing portals to assess ease of use/access of information by our business customers and employees. Based on analysis of call center contacts and voice of customer, develop options to improve/enhance design, functionality and content of portals. Once solution approved by stakeholders, implement and communicate changes

+ Conduct analysis of customer feedback, and do independent review of various letters used to communicate with customers. Based on analysis, develop recommendations for improvements that will simplify the experience for customers, and reduce calls to GEs call centers

+ Support annual renewal process for Executive and Leadership Life Insurance plans owning and managing the project plan, documentation management, meeting facilitation, and preparing and loading content to Portal.

+ Support Benefit Center of Excellences work to implement a global cloud-based Human Capital Management system, while learning key concepts of change management.

+ Support additional Benefits Center Of Excellence projects as needed

+ Lead and/or support various Compliance processes:o Provide leadership and facilitation of annual Risk Review process for Disability team, assessing that all controls are stable/in control and ensure data privacy compliance and correct benefit treatment.

+ Own and/or assist with various ongoing audits supporting compliant/accurate delivery of U.S. Life Insurance and Disability benefits

+ Own planning and administration of continuing education series for GE nurses and disability program supplier partners working in the U.S

+ Support GEs Global Health & Wellness programs which may include assisting with developing content for our HealthAhead website, as well as testing and maintenance of the website.In this role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to

+ Learn about large system implementations, as well as the importance of having operational rigor around managing system releases

+ Learn about controllership and compliance rigor and processes required in a complex benefit delivery organization

+ Learn key operating principles, including exposure to Lean Management and FastWorks

+ Work in a matrix environment

+ Work across various cultures and with remote teams

+ Develop marketing, communication, technical, business writing and public speaking skills

+ Take part in various training and networking opportunities.

+ Be a part of a fast-paced project team



**Qualifications/Requirements:**



+ Must be a full-time, matriculated student at an accredited college or university for the entire internship

+ Must be a Senior or in Grad School with a minimum GPA of 3.0

+ Must commit to one year (no summer internships)

+ Must meet minimum hour requirements: 20 hours per week during school and 40 hours per week when school is not in session

+ Must be authorized to work in the US
