Inside Sales Manager- Industry & Infrastructure |  Atlanta, GA

 

The role of Inside Sales Manager within Informa’s Industry & Infrastructure group will manage a team of Business Development Executives in our Atlanta, GA office. As the Inside Sales Manager, you will lead this team,  ensuring they hit all monthly targets, developing the future sales strategy, training the existing team and improving individuals’ sales skills. This is an ideal positon for a Sales Manager with previous experience building a team as well as being a coach and mentor.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Achieving monthly revenue targets, through managing a sales team of Business Development Executives (4 to 8 sales people).
  • Recruiting, Managing and creating a team culture of target achievement through; dedication, passion, confidence and a sense of fun.
  • Works with management to set short and long term sales strategies.
  • Aiding the development of the team through sales and product training, as well as being innovative to spot and capitalize on new revenue initiatives.
  • Ensuring team achieves all non revenue targets i.e
  • Telephone call metric’s (effectives calls and time on the phone),
  • Testimonials
  • Territory management through accurate use of our CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Keeping the attrition rate below 25%

 

Required Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5-10 years of sales management experience.
  • Proven ability to lead a multiplatform delivery sales team, relying on extensive experience and judgment to accomplish sales goals.
  • Managing and monitoring team achievements against sales objectives
  • An excellent track record in selling solutions to key senior decision makers to coach and mentor others
  • Highly developed business acumen and ability to understand the wider issues of the market you operate in
  • Demonstrated knowledge of different sales methodologies and CRM systems; Salesforce preferred
