The Support Analyst is involved in providing solutions, ad-hoc reports, procedures, testing, and training of HRIS applications to the field HR and payroll personnel, along with software implementations/updates.  In addition, the incumbent is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all end users of Reliance Corporate and Family of Companies for all HR information systems and ensuring data integrity by addressing real time data issues, testing system changes and continually analyzing data.

The HR System Support Analyst collaborates with other internal team members to ensure projects, user requests, and inquiries are resolved and responded to in an accurate and timely manner. The Analyst also ensures that users are trained in the use of software as it applies to enterprise-wide shared HRIS business functions and processes.


  • Act as an internal expert for the HR Systems for Reliance Corporate and Family of Companies
  • Receive inbound calls and tickets from Team REX with the goal of resolving the inquiry/issue on the first contact
  • Effectively utilize internal HR supported systems and tools, along with  troubleshooting and resolving inquiries/issues
  • Perform effective solution to updates for monitoring & tracking issues Act promptly and effectively within company service levels to ensure world class service delivery
  • Manage the customer relationship by effectively identifying sensitive concerns and escalating when necessary
  • Provide administrative support such as preparing and composing confidential correspondence, and receiving telephone calls.
  • Track all calls and emails by logging  service now cases from internal (Team REX)and external customers as required
  • Responsible for researching and troubleshooting system issues, with a resolution for the HR Systems
  • Assist with user acceptance testing of new system functionality, processes and analyze data flow for process improvements
  • Responsible for setting up  new and changes to existing applications; i.e. system configuration and security (new user roles), for the HR supported systems
  • Act as liaison between Team REX, Vendors-and HRIS Groups
  • Train groups and/or individuals comfortably and effectively


  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
  • Responsible for researching laws and regulations regarding taxes and payroll withholding procedures, with some understanding of compliance of local, state, and federal regulations
  • Enhance skills through self-study, and practical application of techniques on the job when appropriate


  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer or Business-related area preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ HR Systems experience required,
  • Experience with Ceridian HR/PR Web, Kronos, Dayforce WFM/HCM strongly preferred
  • Payroll Processing Experience a plus, not required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal conduct and behavior
  • Aptitude in logical thinking and analytical/problem solving skills
  • Computer software literacy
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Able to comprehend moderately complex assignments quickly and use initiative to accomplish goals
  • Proficient in MS Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel required
  • Ability to perform with minimal supervision
  • Work effectively in a team environment
