## Job Mission

An advanced technology industry leader, ASML, is looking for a mid-level HR Business Partner to support the Design and Engineering Sector on the East Coast. This newly created position will be located in Wilton, CT and will report to the Sr. HR Business Partner for Design & Engineering in Wilton, CT.

## Job Description

The HR Business Partner at ASML acts as a partner to the Design & Engineering client group by embedding HR strategy and providing professional HR guidance and support with the objective of adding value to the business.

* Contribute to business objectives by helping leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes
* Support line managers in forecasting and planning for their talent pipeline requirements, to ensure headcount demands are met including recruitment, retention and engagement.
* Leadership coaching for development
* Facilitate meetings, leadership training, team interventions, and increase use of management and leadership principles/models
* Provide expert advice and coaching to managers and employees for performance management and employee relations
* Identify new opportunities where HR can add value to the business
* Develop and promote feedback mechanisms for employees to influence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes
* Determine employee needs for training and liaise with both internal and external resources to oversee its delivery
* Understand employee opinions and anticipate their needs and concerns
* Identify and drive the communication and sharing of best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement
* Act as a liaison between the line and HR to ensure that HR services are aligned with internal client needs
* Maintain a knowledge of progressive HR practices and key trends
* Ensure that a strong leadership and coaching culture permeates the organization
* Manage and execute specific projects
* Policy interpretation and recommendations
* Participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives, rollouts and change management as determined in the annual HR operational plan
* Positive change agent for culture shift
* Compensation analysis and recommendations

## Education

* Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Advance degree and/or HR certification, PHR or SPHR certification

## Experience

* 5+ years of experience in HR and related positions with increasing responsibilities, influence and strong relationships at all levels of the organization
* HR experience in the semiconductor/lithography industry preferred
* Experience in a matrixed and/or global organization preferred
* Substantial business acumen
* Track record of working in complex, fast-paced environment and delivering results
* Clear, comprehensive understanding of the link between HR and business
* Ability to gather, organize, and integrate information
* Ability to develop clear, actionable steps in support of overall business objectives
* Ability to identify new ways for HR to support the business
* Demonstrates problem-solving, conflict resolution, coaching and facilitation skills
* Ability to engage, inspire, and influence people
* Demonstrates ownership, accountability and determination as a team player
* Ability to communicate in a structured way, influence stakeholders, and address appropriate aspects of problem or opportunities
* Proven ability to provide guidance on HR policies and processes (e.g., workforce planning /recruiting , employee relations, and talent management)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability/flexibility to travel up to 15% domestic and/or international
