Responsible for leading, directing, and actively participating as part of a team of biomedical librarians providing education and information services to the Geisel School of Medicine, the Department of Biological Sciences, the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC), The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice (TDI) and other programs, in support of research, scholarship, education, and patient care in the health and life sciences. Participates as a member of the administrative team of the Biomedical Libraries.

• Leads, develops, implements and assesses the education programs and information services of the Biomedical Libraries in support of the Dartmouth, Geisel and DHMC communities, delivering and assessing instruction in both classroom and online environments, providing research and reference services in a variety of formats, and contributing to collection management decisions. (35%)
• Recruits, supervises, and mentors a diverse and inclusive staff; create opportunities for their growth and professional development. (20%)
• Partners with faculty, clinicians, researchers, and others to integrate the Biomedical Libraries in the curricula, research programs, and clinical activities of the various components of Dartmouth's and DHMC's health and life sciences communities. (20%)
• Contributes to evidence-based assessment efforts informing the evolution of library programs, services, and spaces. (10%)
• Serves on and supports College, Geisel, DHMC committees and initiatives as appropriate, representing the Libraries in relevant local, regional, and national organizations; participates in Dartmouth College Library task forces and committees as appropriate; keeps abreast of advances in biomedical sciences, academic librarianship, educational technologies, learning assessment, and pedagogy; and is involved in relevant national and regional professional organizations. (10%)
• Collaborates with other Dartmouth College Libraries to provide coordinated services. (5%)
