Job Details

The on-site Graphic Designer is responsible for the creation of communications, marketing, and branding materials for print, web, email, and advertising to support a wide range of internal and external initiatives. We are looking for a problem-solver who can convert written or spoken ideas into images, layouts and other design assets. The successful candidate will have an intimate understanding of marketing campaigns and have solid branding skills. The Graphic Designer must be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects while collaborating with multiple teams working in an array of disciplines. He or she must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be highly motivated, organized and extremely detail-oriented, with the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt to changing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.


  • Develop original, creative design and layout concepts to support external and internal communications on topics ranging from company-sponsored programs such as wellness, benefits and safety to company news and activities. Communications pieces include:

o    Program brochures, single and multi-page newsletters, flyers, and posters

o    Advertisements (print and web)

o    Web site/page designs and wireframes

o    PowerPoint presentations materials including infographics, and other forms of data representation

  • Create logos, graphics, and banners in support of company-sponsored programs, campaigns, and events
  • Work with Communications team to create wireframes and mockups for company microsites
  • Provide graphics support, including photo editing and design review
  • Ensure that all design projects adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistent brand identity
  • Accept feedback from Corporate Communications team and internal clients and incorporate the feedback into the designs
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and remain flexible through multiple revisions while keeping a keen attention to detail
  • Coordinate with outside vendors for production work as needed
  • Perform other duties and assignments as required


  • Assist with fulfillment of print orders for locations
  • Assist in other communications areas as needed


  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design
  • Excellent design, layout, and typography skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, copyediting, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Highly organized and precise in work detail, with the ability to prioritize and problem solve
  • Able to balance varying work demands and shift priorities if necessary
  • Able to work with strong personalities, be flexible and teamwork-oriented
  • Knowledge of MailChimp, SurveyMonkey, and WordPress preferable
  • Minimum of three years’ full time experience in graphic design
  • Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Understanding of both print and digital channels
  • Ability to work in a PC environment, with knowledge of relevant software including Microsoft Office and SharePoint, Box, and ServiceNow
  • Basic understanding of printing process
