Global Business Director- Finance Intelligence | New York, NY

 

The Business Intelligence Global Business Director is the primary client knowledge expert within Informa covering Financial Intelligence’s most strategic client relationships. The Global Business Director is the primary business lead responsible for the overall account strategy, including engaging, developing and managing meaningful relationships with key decision makers across the client’s entire business. You will be leading the virtual global account team and have a record of success in global management.

 

A successful Global Business Director must fully understand our customers’ strategy, workflow, needs, and goals. This knowledge coupled with a comprehensive understanding of the value of the entire Financial Intelligence platform is essential in our goal of creating solutions for our clients. The mandate for a Global Business Director is to identify opportunities across their client relationships and collaborate effectively inside Financial Intelligence drawing upon the extensive domain knowledge expertise from our Sales Specialists and Product Management teams to improve customer performance and leverage new products and solutions.

 

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Serve as client expert responsible for understanding every facet of a client’s business including organizational structure, performance, business strategy and key leadership
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with strategic key business leaders in an assigned client list
  • Create solutions for clients by having a full understanding of customers’ strategy, workflow, needs, and goals and a comprehensive understanding of value of Financial intelligence platform
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including leading the virtual global account team, sales specialists, client services, product management and senior management resources, in order to meet client revenue growth performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
  • Leads and manages to completion all contract renewals and negotiations with their Key Accounts.
  • Managing a robust pipeline, sales forecast and maintain assigned targets for profitable sales volume, retention and assigned strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
  • Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in direct client sales and relationship management in the investment or financial services industry.
  • Experience managing a global, virtual account team
  • Experience in planning, proposing and closing complex business proposals in a simple and articulate manner.
  • Experience in selling to the C-Suite.
  • A highly collaborative individual experienced in coordinating company talent and resource to address client opportunities.
