Job Responsibilities

  • Primarily to win new business and develop allocated strategic accounts representing the portfolio across BI. Focusing primarily on Pharma, Finance, and TMT.
  • Be seen by client as the ‘face of BI’
  • Be the principle commercial contact between Informa and your assigned customer base
  • Maintain and develop wide-ranging relationships within your assigned customer base
  • Optimize and manage sales revenue and growth from a designated Key Accounts base to ensure high levels of customer retention and revenue growth
  • Penetrate and develop new business and revenue from a defined list of development accounts
  • Promote the value and use of the products and services you have responsibility for across all potential customers both internally and externally and identify and communicate other opportunities outside of those products
  • Extend the geographic and demographic spread of BI’s products within your assigned customer base
  • Ensure that all major customers have contract terms that reflect the preferred business model for Informa
  • Contribute fully to the objectives of your division and achieve the personal objectives set by your manager

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of consultative selling to large multi-nationals with a preference for Professional Services industry (advisory and consultancies) experience
  • Background of selling Pharma business intelligence products and services 
  • Ability to network at senior level, C-suite level to identify requirements and opportunities 
  • Work with internal colleagues across the business to maximize revenue opportunities

 

Skills:

  • The role will require the candidate to sell a multi-industry business intelligence solution to Professional Services Companies
  • Experience of selling to and networking within PS companies – specifically global advisory and advertising
  • Working closely with Marketing, content and Global sales colleagues to develop and implement global account plans to maximize revenue opportunity
  • Proficient and confident in face to face meetings
